Informing the school of lateness, when your child will not be riding the preschool bus
If your child will be late to school, and if your child regularly rides the preschool bus, you should write a note to the school in the case that your child will not be on the bus. If you are unaware that your child will be late to school until the night before or the day of the late arrival, it is preferable to telephone or otherwise directly contact the preschool.
If your child is late to school because of a visit to the doctor, you may discuss your child's condition or the doctor's advice with your child's teachers when you take your child to school. This will allow you to share information with the teachers, who will be able to pay special attention to your child if necessary.
